I have received my Honours BA in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University. Following this, I obtained an Advanced Certificate in George Brown College’s Child and Youth Care program. I then completed my Master of Psychology (M.Psy) at Adler Professional Graduate School in Toronto, Ontario. I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA)
Since 2020, I have worked exclusively in private practice. In private practice I have been fortunate enough to be introduced and included in so many valiant individuals’ deeply personal and vulnerable narratives. I have cherished the professional and personal growth that private practice has afforded me. I am continually moved by the courageous people who share their stories, insecurities, traumas, plans for the future, and highlights of their life. Being included in these narratives is the highest honour and pleasure of my job, and not a privilege that I take lightly.

Session frequency varies from person-to-person depending on their needs and concerns. Weekly sessions are optimal for progress for behaviour change, though not everyone needs this frequency. Most find it helpful to begin on a weekly basis for the first 4-6 sessions, and depending where the client feels they are in their progress, sessions can slow down to a bi-weekly or even monthly basis. But again, everyone is different!

Most, if not all, major insurance companies cover mental health services. Though, exact coverage depends on your individual plan. Please check with your insurance provider if they cover psychotherapy services with a registered psychotherapist.

No, at this time I am unable to provide direct billing. After your session you will be provided with a receipt, which you can send to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Your credit card will be stored on your profile within JaneApp. At the conclusion of session your credit card will be charged and you will automatically be sent your receipt.

At this time I am only seeing clients virtually. Having an on-site location available is a venture I hope to look into in the near future.

Starting treatment can be scary! It’s always good to ask questions about treatment if you have any prior to beginning. I offer a free 15-minute consult session to quell any nerves and answer any questions related to treatment.
As well, keeping an open mind about therapy and treatment, and understanding that the discomfort in opening up is where growth happens. It can be helpful to come with a list of specific concerns you may have and issues you hope to explore in treatment with your therapist.
